A little catch up...

Time does fly when you are having fun! This fall has been busy!

The week after Andrew started Kindergarten, Kaitlyn started preschool. We ended up changing to a different preschool after the first quarter for a better fit. The most important thing to Kaitlyn, is that her cousin Caroline is with her! These two girls are hilarious! They just can't imagine a day without each other!

After the start of school, as director, I started a mid-week program for our kids at church. We are doing a program called FaithWeaver Friends, which is perfect for us! The program is for kids from age 3 through 5th grade. It's so exciting to see the kids learn more about God and have a great time! For me, it has added enough work to overshadow my own part time job, but it's truly a labor of love that I wouldn't give up. The conversations that I have had with Andrew because of things he has learned are amazing. Fun, fun!

Andrew also played soccer. It was an 8 week introductory team that was all about fun and the basics of soccer. He had a great time and will definitely play again!

We also had visitors this fall! My mom (Nana) came out for a week while Kevin was on a work trip to Boston. As always, we had a nice relaxed time. The kids had tons of fun, we got some craft store browsing in and we caught up on some girl movies! Shortly after her visit, Grandma and Grandpa came out for three weeks. The time was split between the two Michigan houses, although we spent a lot of time altogether. Lauren (my niece) was dedicated at church during their visit, Kevin had a birthday, and three weeks zoomed by! We did take time to have family pictures taken - what a cool thing!!!

Finally, we had Halloween this last week. Kaitlyn was a princess and Andrew was a pickle. They both chose their costumes and I made Andrew's (with Lucy's help).
